Josh Elam/Owner
Josh Elam has been a fixture on the Memphis car scene for nearly 15 years; having started his career as an installer at an automotive accessories shop here in Memphis, TN. Josh quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to General Manager. Noticing a void in the Memphis market of competent performance shops, Josh soon started offering performance packages and custom tuning. This lead to Josh and his crew building and tuning some very notable cars–including the first automatic swapped Corvette C6 Z06 in the country. Eventually, Josh decided to open his own shop, Premier Autosports where he continued to build some of the fastest GM LS based cars and trucks in the country including Josh’s own 1300 HP LS2 Firebird. In 2010 Premier Autosports merged with Dynospeed Racing and over the past five years Dynospeed Racing has grown to be the highest regarded LS performance shop in the mid-south.
